#117. Beyond imagination
I love the verses in Ephesians 3v20,21: “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
And so we say our prayers… asking God to work in such and such a way for such and such a person in such and such a situation…
Good.
Now realise, believe, know that God can answer that prayer but He is not limited by what we have prayed – He can do far more than we ask or imagine. So, maybe we should go beyond asking for things that we put our own limitations on? Maybe we should use our imagination a little more in our prayers?
Better.
