A Hook Men's Ministry (HMM) event
Men's Breakfast - Sat 17th March
On Saturday 17th March the Hook Men’s Ministry (HMM) team organised a breakfast gathering. A full English breakfast was then followed by an interview given by Doug.
Our guest for the day was Jim who works with the Open-Air Mission in and around the London area. He recounted some of the anecdotes and encounters of his ministry which were both enlightening and challenging to all the 30 or so Hookite men who attended.
The next HMM event:
is a Football Festival on Saturday 19th May (yes Cup Final day!) at 8.30am to 10.00am. Starting at 8.30am with a kick about in the field at the bottom of Brook Road for dads, lads and grandads. This will be followed by bacon or sausage butties back in the church hall together with a topical football quiz. A sign-up sheet can be found on the welcome desk in the foyer. The event is free, but please sign up as we would like to know numbers for catering. Men are encoraged to bring along friends and family.
