Passover/’Last Supper’ celebration

Experience a Passover celebration, as Jesus would have celebrated at the Last Supper. See the origin of our Communion Service.

If you’d like to take part more fully, you will need to make some preparations. There are certain things you may need to buy, and other things to set out on your Passover Seder table.
Shopping list:
*Bread: flat (Matza) or standard (3 pieces/slices+ per household)
*Drink: blackcurrant juice/red wine (1 glass/ person)
*Parsley or lettuce (one sprig/leaf per person)
*Horseradish sauce or other sour-ish sauce (1 teaspoon/person)
*Apple or sweet sauce (1 teaspoon/person)
Also – per household
2 candles/matches,
a bowl of salty water,
a little prize for the person who finds the hidden ½ matza,
We will email out a booklet separately and together we shall
celebrate, each in our own home.
The evening comprises:
1) About 40 minutes’ experiencing’ the Passover,
2) Then we stop for about 20 minutes when you can have
‘supper’, snacks, watch a power-point photo presentation.
3) We finish with the ‘cup after supper’, the Cup
of Redemption, which Jesus said symbolised Him, and which we remember in Communion:
this part takes about 20 minutes. See you then!
