SMALL GROUP DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
Matthew Chapters 5,6,7 - The Sermon on the Mount
DATE: Wed 16th May 2018
It is an amazing thing to be a believer in Jesus! As believers we are adopted into the family of God, and God Himself becomes Our Father! This is mind-blowing, but we have a relationship with God as Our Father! In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5,6,7) Jesus speaks a lot about Our Father and ourselves in relationship. Let’s read it and see what we can learn about this relationship, asking the same questions of each passage of Scripture.
- Read Matthew 5v1-16. What do these verses tell us about Our Father and ourselves?
- Read Matthew 5v43-48. What do these verses tell us about Our Father and ourselves?
- Read Matthew 6v1-8. What do these verses tell us about Our Father and ourselves?
- Read Matthew 6v9-15. What do these verses tell us about Our Father and ourselves?
- Read Matthew 6v25-34. What do these verses tell us about Our Father and ourselves?
- Read Matthew 7v7-12. What do these verses tell us about Our Father and ourselves?
- Read Matthew 7v21-23. What do these verses tell us about Our Father and ourselves?
